    To ensure you give the exact right amount of information you need to give all 5 W's. If you miss any people will fill the gap themselves

  • Identify the tasks

    What are some of the other opportunities here? What are the essential ones, the ones that we truly must do in order to be successful?

    • Specified tasks
    • Implied tasks
    • Essential tasks (what are the ones that will define success of the task)
  • Determine what you can and can't do

    Essential that we know what we can and can't do. If we are unsure we must clarify either with our supervisor or with the authority matrix
